We are delighted to announce that midfielder Courtney Farrell is staying on with The Reds for the 2024-2025 season. Courtney has been at the club since 2022 but missed the campaign last year due to being on maternity leave.
Here is what Courtney had to say as we sat down with her to get her thoughts on being back in the fold ahead of the new season.
You have just come back from maternity and committed to Redditch United Women for another season, how do you feel you can impact this campaign?
I think I can impact the campaign with my experience, being one of the older girls in the group I can give my knowledge of the game to help the younger girls and gain confidence in the squad.
What are you most looking forward to about being back amongst the group?
I’m really looking forward to being back amongst the group enjoying the game and seeing my friends. I can’t wait to get back on the pitch for the new season.
