Aside from a variety of sporting opportunities, Redditch United work in partnership with Heart of Birmingham Vocational College (HBVC) to provide full-time education programmes for learners aged 16-24. Their education is based at our partnered centre, the REDI Centre, whilst they train & play at the Valley Stadium.
The partnership launched in 2021, initially offering sports specific programmes based at the stadium.
In 2023, a more generic core curriculum was added to the offering at Redditch United.
The football club are believed to be the only football club in the country to offer this type of provision at their stadium.
The programme allows a unique opportunity for SEND learners to develop their academic and employability skills in the setting of a football club that operates 7 days a week. has a 7-day-a-week operation.
In 2026, the education provision moved to the REDI Centre, providing more space and better facilities to support the continued growth of the provision. The sporting element of the education remains at the Valley Stadium, where they train regularly and play games.
