We are delighted to announce that Olivia Burke has committed to The Reds for the upcoming season. This will be Olivia’s third season at The Valley and we caught up with her to get her aspirations for the upcoming campaign.
This will be your third season with us where you have experienced relegation in your first season and consolidation last season. What are your aspirations for this season?
This season an aspiration of mine is to place above mid table. I believe that this can be achieved with the few additions that we have brought in to help bolster our team and through maintaining high training standards we have set.
You have played left back and left winger, what position do you see yourself most suited?
I feel like I have attributes of both positions and would actually see myself better suited as a wing back, however I know that this would be subject to the formation that is put out on match days. I do enjoy playing both left back and left winger, but I feel I’m probably stronger on the attack so I guess I’d have to say winger.
