Redditch United Football Club was delighted to offer an exclusive work experience opportunity to students from Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College), supporting the next generation of creative media professionals.
Level 3 Creative Media Production and Technology (TV & Film) learners attended The Reds’ emphatic final match of the 2024/25 season at The Valley Stadium, where Redditch United delivered a stunning 4-0 victory over Hitchin Town.
The students gained valuable real-world experience by capturing the action, the atmosphere, and the behind-the-scenes excitement of a matchday, working alongside the club’s media and communications team. Their involvement included filming, interviewing, and producing content to support both their coursework and their professional portfolios.
Adam Neal, Curriculum Manager for The Arts at HoW College, praised the partnership, saying:
“This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to apply their skills in a live environment, working under real pressure and delivering creative content. Experiences like this are invaluable for their development and progression into the media industry. We’re hugely grateful to Redditch United for their support and look forward to building on this relationship in the future.”
Redditch United remains committed to strengthening ties with the local community and creating opportunities for young people to develop skills and confidence through practical experience.
