Redditch United Football Club was proud to be represented at the Birmingham County FA’s 150th Anniversary celebrations held in Birmingham on Friday 19th September.

The historic occasion began with a commemorative service at Birmingham Cathedral, followed by a drinks reception and buffet at the Council House in Victoria Square. More than 250 guests from across the football community came together to recognise and celebrate the County FA’s 150 years of service to the game.

Redditch United Chairman David Faulkner attended on behalf of the club, joining fellow football officials, dignitaries and special guests at the milestone event.

Reflecting on the occasion, Faulkner said:

“It was an honour to represent Redditch United at such a prestigious event. The Birmingham County FA has played a pivotal role in supporting football at every level across the region, and to celebrate 150 years of service is a fantastic achievement. I’d like to extend my thanks to Chief Executive Kevin Shoemake for the kind invitation, and to congratulate the BCFA team on delivering such a memorable celebration.”

As one of the region’s leading non-league clubs, Redditch United is proud to continue its strong relationship with the Birmingham County FA and looks forward to working closely with them to ensure football in the Midlands thrives for many years to come.
