Redditch United came back from 3-0 down to earn a point at home, and complete an unbeaten October in the league. The visitors went ahead through Luke Ingram and Liam Pearce, before Alezandro Da Silva, Billy Fielding and Dan Sweeney rescued a draw at the death.

There was only one change to the lineup from the victory over RC Warwick, as Morgan Owen returned from suspension and replaced Aram Soleman.

Needham Market were off to a dream start as their forward was brought down inside the box and the referee awarded a penalty. Luke Ingram stepped up and scored the spot-kick into the bottom left corner.

Shortly after, the ball bounced around the Redditch box and Morgan Owen was called into action when he cleared the ball off the line.

It was a quiet, yet scrappy first half of action with not much in the game and the Reds entered the break behind by a goal.

HALF-TIME: Redditch United 0-1 Needham Market

The visitors started the second half quickly again, as Liam Pearce took the ball around Joel Shambrook, before crossing to Ingram, who fired home his second of the game.

Aram Soleman, Alezandro Da Silva and Dan Sweeney were all brought on shortly after, which sparked some life into the team.

However, Needham would grab their third through Pearce when he cut inside from the right and slotted it past Rory Brown.

It was a quick turn around from Jimmy Fry’s men as substitute Da Silva found himself on the end of a set-piece and tapped home to bring one back.

Seconds later, Sweeney drove down the left, before cutting back to Billy Fielding, who took a touch and slotted home into the bottom corner.

Redditch pushed for the equaliser and in the 90th minute, they were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box. Sweeney stepped up and hit it straight into the top corner to seal a fantastic comeback and secure an unbeaten October.
