Following agreeing terms stay, we asked Aram for his thoughts…
“It’s a special time at the club right now, and I wanted to be a part of this new chapter of the Club. We had a successful season and I want to push on and build on that.
The Club is heading in the right direction. The fans turning up, the players, staff and how we are performing – the Club is going upwards.”
After popping up with a few important goals last season, we asked if scoring more goals was a target for him…
“Of course, I want to contribute, help the team to score more goals and win games. I set myself personal targets last year and will do so again this year. Scoring more is definitely one of them. Being injured two seasons ago, I worked hard to get myself fit and get back into the team. I feel physically fit and want to hit the ground running when the season starts.”
Finally, we asked for his message to the fans…
“I’m proud to be the longest-serving player at the Club and I want to thank the fans for their support whilst I’ve been here. There’s been ups and downs but as a Club, we’re in a good moment. The support last year was immense, even when we went 6 games without a win the fans supported us and you can see in the celebrations against Needham how much it means.
My message to the fans is to keep showing the passion and support that they do. We want the Valley Stadium to be bouncing and to be loud away from home as well.
