We’re delighted to share that ahead of the new season, Jordan Cranston will take the armband for 2024/25 with Alex Cameron being appointed Vice Captain.
Our new skipper gave us his thoughts following the appointment; “I’m happy to be appointed Captain of the team for the upcoming season. It shows a lot of trust and faith from the management team and the squad to allow me to lead the team on and off the pitch.
I want to bring my experience and character, as well as what I’ve learnt from different captains I’ve had the pleasure of working with throughout my career so far. There is one goal we have as a team, and that’s to build on what we achieved last season. We have signed a good group of players from last season and added to the group, we’ve had a good pre-season working hard and gelling together and we’re all looking forward to the season kicking off on Saturday! UTR.”
Your new Reds vice captain, Alex Cameron, said; “I’m proud to be looked up to as a leader by the staff and my teammates, this club’s got a special spot in my heart and I’ll do my best to keep pushing the team and the club in the right direction.”
Congratulations Cranno and Al, well deserved. Two players who always leave everything they’ve got out on the pitch.
