Reddit, the platform that attracts more than 500 million monthly active users and ranks among the top 20 most‑visited websites on the planet, has become a familiar and welcome presence at the Valley Stadium alongside the r/football subreddit. Their return as front‑of‑shirt sponsors reinforces a relationship that blends local loyalty with international visibility, giving Redditch United a platform that stretches far beyond Worcestershire.

The 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons showcased exactly what this partnership can achieve. Reddit r/football didn’t just sponsor the club; they stood front and centre during the final home game, collaborating with Redditch United to deliver a spectacular one‑off event that will live long in supporters’ memory.

🎪 A Season Finale That Set a New Standard

The end‑of‑season celebration was a statement of intent. Together, Reddit and Redditch United delivered an unforgettable matchday experience featuring:

  • Tribute acts | Bringing festival‑style energy to the terraces

  • Reusable Reddit cups | Reducing waste and championing sustainability

  • Fairground rides | Turning the stadium into a family‑friendly carnival free of charge.

  • Community‑first programming | Celebrating the people who make the club what it is

  • Welcoming Reddit | We welcomed a whole host of Reddit employees who travelled from London and the US, including the Reddit co-founder & CEO, Steve Huffman.

It wasn’t just entertainment. It was a demonstration of Reddit’s commitment to Redditch United, local supporters, and the wider community – a partnership built on shared values, not just branding.

🌍 Global Platform, Local Heart

Reddit’s global standing gives Redditch United exposure that few clubs at this level can match. With communities spanning every interest imaginable, from football culture to local town forums, the platform amplifies the club’s story to audiences worldwide. With the r/football community supporting us, our ability to reach an audience of hundreds of thousands of football-loving fans has allowed us to continue to grow in all areas.

This renewed sponsorship ensures that the Reds will continue to carry a name recognised across continents, while staying true to the club’s identity as a community‑driven, supporter‑focused organisation.

Iain Wain, Managing Director of Redditch United, had this to say about the renewal of the Partnership:

“Our partnership with Reddit is built on authenticity, shared purpose, and a genuine commitment to the people of Redditch. Last season’s finale showed what can happen when creativity meets community spirit, and we’re thrilled to continue this journey together. Reddit’s global reach paired with their local heart makes them the perfect partner for our club – not just for this season, but for many years to come.”

🔴 Looking Ahead

As the 2026/27 season approaches, the club and Reddit are already exploring new ways to deepen the partnership, enhance matchday experiences, and continue building a model of community engagement that other clubs can look to.
