We are thrilled to announce that defender Laura Broadbent is staying for another season at Redditch United Women. Laura has been with the club since January and has already demonstrated great leadership qualities both on and off the pitch.
Here is what Laura had to say about her staying on at Redditch United Women for the new season.
You arrived half way through last season, what was the main factor in you staying with us this season?
The main factor I wanted to hang around this season is to lead and support the growth and development of an excellent set of players with so much potential with my experience in the women’s game. This group bond is like no other and this can only mean good things going into 24-25 season.
What do you think the team can achieve this season?
This team can achieve such big things with the potential the squad has so of course we want to look at promotion after a disappointing league table finish last season, but I think we would be happy to finish in the top half of the table. I would also like to get to a final with this group this season as I think we deserve a lot of success. We have put the performances in, the results just didn’t always come!
