With a crucial run-in starting on Saturday and the Non-League transfer deadline on Thursday 27th March, 5pm, Matt Clarke has further bolstered his squad.
Kieran Brown, 20-year-old wing back, and striker, Cyrus Babaie, arrive at the Reds.
Kieran joins on loan from Notts County and is a versatile player, packing pace and 1v1 abilit. He has spent time on loan with Step 3 side Mickleover this season, impressing in his wing back role for Sports.
Cyrus Babaie arrives as a proven goalscorer a Step 3, having moved to Biggleswade Town at the start of the season where he got off to a flying start with 11 goals, 7 in the League, for a side that has struggled for the most part of the season. The striker has also spent time with Welwyn Garden City where he enjoyed a strong spell that earnt him a move to Potters Bar.
Upon signing Cyrus, Matt Clarke commented; “I’m really pleased to get him in. His move from Biggleswade hasn’t gone according to plan but is still one of the leading scorers at Biggleswade and hopefully, he will bring much-needed goals during the final month of the season.”
