We’re delighted to announce the signing of Macauley “Macca” King following international clearance.
The 29-year-old full back has been playing in the United States for the previous 10 years, including 6 years in the USL Championship, the division below the MLS. After growing up in the Leicester City academy as a kid, he moved to the US for college where he attended and played for Young Harris College. His first club outside of college was Indy Eleven in 2019 before moving to El Paso, a move to Switchbacks FC then followed in January 2022. He ended his stay in America by returning to Indy Eleven last season and has since moved back to England.
Welcome to the Reds, Macca!
He is available for selection for tomorrow’s League fixture against Hitchin Town.
