Redditch United are pleased to welcome Joel Shambrook to Redditch United.
The 20-year-old right back arrives from Solihull Moors and will be a familiar face to Reds supporters following his loan spell with the club at the end of the 2024/25 season, where he joined in February.
The full back has appeared multiple times for Moors, including a debut against Barnet in the FA Trophy and starts in competitions such as the Birmingham Senior Cup. Despite his young age, Shambrook has experience in and around Step 3 following loan spells with the likes of Stourbridge and us, as well as other loan moves at the likes of Leamington in the National League North, and Darlaston Town and Studley where he gained valuable, regular first team football.
Mike Fowler commented; “I have worked with Joel for the best of 5 or 6 years now and is a player that I rate really highly. He’s a very intelligent footballer with great technical ability and can defend duels very well. Now he is a permanent Red, we will see Joel flourish in the season ahead.”
