NEW SIGNING | Jenson Sumnall

NEW SIGNING | Jenson Sumnall

We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Jenson Sumnall for an undisclosed fee from Stourbridge, who has signed a deal until the end of the 2026/27 season.

The 20-year-old centre-back arrives from fellow Southern League Central side, Stourbridge. The defender brings a strong pedigree despite his youth, having signed a scholarship with West Bromwich Albion after coming up through the Stourbridge pathway. Following his WBA scholarship, he signed a one-year professional deal with Peterborough United in 2024/25 and returned to the Glassboys at the start of this season, where he has scored an impressive 8 goals.

First Team Manager, Mike Fowler, said, “I’m delighted to add Jenson to our squad and secure his services until the end of next season. Jenson has had a great season at Stourbridge, even chipping in with eight goals. He fits our profile of player and project perfectly. Young and hungry with fantastic attributes, Jenson is someone that we are excited to help develop. He joins a team that will help him flourish and maximise his full potential. An exciting signing at an exciting time for us, I have no doubt he will be a huge hit with us.”

Welcome to the Reds, Jenson!

His registration is pending FA & League ratification.
