🔴 ANOTHER ONE THROUGH THE DOOR! WELCOME, GUS MAFUTA! 🔴
THE REDS AREN’T DONE YET!
Following the arrival of Sam Beedie, Redditch United are delighted to announce another major signing with the arrival of experienced midfielder Gus Mafuta!
Gus brings a wealth of experience, physical presence and proven quality from higher levels of non-league football to the Valley Stadium.
With over 250 appearances at National League level, Gus has represented Gateshead, Salford City, Hartlepool United, Boreham Wood, York City and Solihull Moors, most recently turning out for Hereford.
He was also part of Salford City’s promotion-winning side that reached the Football League in 2019.
A powerful, combative central midfielder with an eye for goal, Gus brings leadership, physicality and a winning pedigree to the Reds’ midfield.
🤝 SECURING OUR MAN
Securing a player of Gus’s calibre required determination, persistence and a real belief in what we are building at Redditch United. We are absolutely delighted to have got this signing over the line and cannot wait to see Gus pulling on the red shirt!
