Redditch United are delighted to confirm Mike Fowler’s backroom staff ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Joining Fowler will be Jimmy Fry as Assistant Manager. Jimmy is a well-known figure around Step 3, having played the vast majority of his career around local Midlands teams including: Leamington, Kidderminster Harriers, Stratford Town, Bromsgrove Sporting and Tamworth, all following a spell with the Birmingham City academy. The 30-year-old retired early from playing football to pursue his passion for coaching, where he coached at the Blues academy before being appointed First Team Manager at Alvechurch in September 2023. The Church finished the season maintaining their Step 3 status and added the Worcestershire Senior Cup to their collection under his management.
Familiar faces in Dan Price, goalkeeper coach, and Auz Shah, Physio, will be extending their stay with the Reds as they too join Mike Fowler for the upcoming season.
In addition, Dylan Scott will join as 1st Team Analyst and Ben Faulkner takes on the role of 1st Team Scout & Head of Recruitment.
After confirming his backroom staff, Mike Fowler commented: “I am delighted that Jimmy has joined us, he will bring great experience, knowledge and professionalism to our staff structure. His attention to detail and standards mirror my expectations and he is a fantastic person. I’m really looking forward to working with him.
