We’re pleased to welcome 18-year-old attacker Jack Loughran, who joins us on a youth loan from Shrewsbury Town.
The versatile forward has spent the majority of the 2025/26 season on loan at Step 4 side, Shifnal Town, where he has impressed and helped the newly promoted side climb to 3rd in the Northern Premier West Division. Loughran has netted 6 times for Shifnal, 2 of which came against Gainsborough Trinity in their narrow 3-2 FA Trophy exit. Despite his age, he’s had multiple appearances for his parent club, Shrewsbury Town, in competitions such as the EFL Trophy, the FA Cup and in League One against Burton Albion.

Jack’s a player who comes highly recommended to me following his impressive loan spell with Shifnal Town, who are doing very well at Step 4, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do whilst he’s with us.”
