We’re delighted to announce that we have retained the services of Liam Loughlan, having signed a contract for the 2026/27 season.
The 24-year-old creative midfielder had a standout season with us last term, notching an impressive number of goal contributions with 28 in all competitions. Loughlan made 48 appearances, playing a pivotal role in our season, scoring 15 goals and assisting 13 times. He wrapped up the campaign with a hat-trick and an assist on the final day.
First Team Manager, Mike Fowler, said:
“Good things come to those who wait! That is certainly the case is with Locks.
Liam had a great season for us last year and became a talisman for us. In terms of ability, there are not many better outside the football league, we were fortunate enough to sign him this time last year and now we get the pleasure of working with him again. He can score goals, create opportunities and works incrediby hard. The fact that he has committed to us via contract as well is huge. The squad is coming together nicely and this is a massive step in the right direction.”
