We’re thrilled to welcome Jak Hickman to Redditch United, as he has agreed terms committing to a deal for the 2026/27 season!
The 27-year-old brings a wealth of experience and technical ability. Jak started off at Coventry City as a pro before moves to Bolton Wanderers, St Patrick’s Athletic, Kings Lynn, Banbury United and most recently, Halesowen Town, where he made 129 appearances in 3 years. For those with a good memory, Hickman actually had a brief loan spell for us on loan from the Sky Blues.
A versatile, right-footed and energetic player, he’s well-known for his delivery of crosses and set pieces, playing anywhere on the right-hand side or midfield.
Mike Fowler, Men’s Team Manager, said:
“I am really pleased to bring a player of Jak’s pedigree to our football club. Jak has incredible ability, his delivery into the box is second to none. I have a really exciting plan for him with our squad and I believe it will be a fantastic season for him and in turn, for us. He will bring experience, maturity and a voice to an already strong squad. I can’t wait to get to work with him.”
Welcome to the Reds, Jak!
