Player signings brought to you by AJ’s.
Redditch United are thrilled to welcome Alex Cameron back.
The 24-year-old striker is a well-known talisman around the Valley Stadium, having spent multiple seasons as a Red, including our play-off campaign where he scored 15 League goals, finishing as our second highest top scorer behind the recently re-signed Reece Flanagan. His third spell with the Club was cut short during the 2024/25 season when he opted to move to Halesowen Town; however, he returns for another spell as his Redditch United story continues.
Although still young, the forward has plenty of experience at Step 3 and Step 2 with local Midlands clubs, with his first Redditch United spell coming in 2020/21.
Upon securing his latest striker, Mike Fowler said: “Another returning player that I’m incredibly excited to be working with this forthcoming season. I’ve had some great chats and interactions with Alex, it is very clear that he has a strong connection & affinity to our club. He’s another player who will score a lot of goals this season, but he is so much more than that. He works very hard, he’s powerful, robust and not easy to play against. I foresee a big season ahead for him and I can’t wait.”
